How to use a stick diffuser refill

When the liquid in the diffuser runs out, the procedure is simple:

  1. Remove the sticks. If you are changing fragrance, keep them aside or replace them with new ones.
  2. If you change fragrance, rinse the container with lukewarm water and neutral detergent, then dry it thoroughly before proceeding.
  3. Pour the refill into the bottle to the desired level.
  4. Reinsert the sticks and flip them immediately for immediate first diffusion.

To adjust the intensity: more sticks mean more fragrance. For a bathroom or small room, 4-5 sticks are enough. For a large living room, you can go up to 8-10. Flipping the sticks every 2-3 days maintains consistent diffusion over time.

Always store partially used refills in an upright position, with the cap closed, away from heat sources and direct sunlight.

How long does a 500 ml or 1 litre refill last?

With standard use — environment of 30-40 sqm, 8-10 sticks, flipping every 2-3 days — a 500 ml refill lasts on average 3-4 months. The 1 litre one lasts 6-8 months. In smaller environments or with fewer sticks, the duration increases. Warm climates or intense air conditioning can reduce these times due to accelerated evaporation.

Are Muhà refills compatible with diffusers from other brands?

Muhà Essence Refill refills are designed for diffusers from the same Muhà line, with which they guarantee the indicated olfactory performance. They can also be used with stick diffusers from other brands, but the duration and intensity of the fragrance may vary depending on the type of container and the quality of the sticks used.

Can I mix different fragrances in the same diffuser?

It is not recommended. Different fragrances in the same container can result in a non-uniform olfactory result. If you want to change fragrance, empty and wash the bottle thoroughly, dry it completely and also replace the sticks, which over time absorb the previous fragrance.

What is the difference between buying a refill and a complete diffuser?

The refill allows you to reuse the container and sticks already at home, reducing both expense and waste. If your diffuser is in good condition and you like the fragrance, the refill is the most practical choice.
