This information notice (art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679, GDPR) applies to those who subscribe to L'Arcolaio messages on the WhatsApp number +39 344 455 8832. You subscribe from a QR code in the store, from a QR code on the slip in packages or from a link of ours. Subscription only occurs when you send the pre-written message.

What data we use
- Your WhatsApp phone number and profile name.
- Date and text of the message you subscribe with, and date of any unsubscription.
- The messages you write to us on this number and the delivery data of ours.
- The subscription channel: store or slip in the package.
- If the number is the same as an order on larcolaio.com, the link to your customer profile.
Why we use them
- To send you promotions on WhatsApp (arrivals, offers, store events, site news) and the invitation to leave a review. Legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR and art. 130 of the Privacy Code).
- To respond to messages you write to us. Legal basis: your request (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
- To prove that you gave us your consent and that we respected your unsubscription. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in defending ourselves from disputes (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
Consent is optional. Without it, you do not receive promotions on WhatsApp and nothing else changes, neither for your purchases nor for support.
We keep store subscribers separate from online ones, to send each one suitable messages. We do not use your purchases to choose what to send you and we do not make automated decisions about you.
Who we entrust them to
The data are seen by the people on our team in charge and these suppliers, who work for us as data processors:
- WhatsApp Ireland Limited (Meta group): message delivery.
- Klaviyo, Inc. (United States): sending platform, archive of subscribers and consents.
- Anthropic: when one of our operators asks, it prepares a draft response or translates a message. A person always checks it, and the contents are not used to train the models.
- IT service providers: technical management of the systems with which we receive and read messages.
Transfers outside the European Union
Klaviyo stores the data in the United States. Meta may process them in Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, United States and Singapore. Anthropic may also process them outside the European Union.
These transfers are based on the EU-USA Data Privacy Framework, for those adhering to it, and on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission (decision 2021/914). You can ask us for a copy of these guarantees at the contacts indicated above.
For how long
- Subscription: until you unsubscribe. If for 24 months you do not write to us and do not open any links in our messages, we delete the subscription.
- Messages you write to us: 24 months from the last message.
- Proof of consent and unsubscription: 5 years from the end of the subscription. In this period we only keep number, dates and text of the consent.
Your rights
To unsubscribe, just write STOP on WhatsApp. Unsubscription does not affect the validity of what was done before.
