The heart of the Brevetti WAF collection is glasses and goblets in technical plastic material: polycarbonate, SAN (styrene acrylonitrile) and Tritan. Each material has specific characteristics: polycarbonate offers maximum impact resistance, SAN guarantees crystal-like transparency similar to glass, Tritan is BPA-free and suitable for prolonged food contact. Available lines include: Milano (DOF, Gin Glass, Cooler, Shot), Reflex (DOF, Hiball, Calice, Ballon), Arrogante DOF, London Cooler, Tiki George, Martini Glass, Urban Glass, Event Glass and Croisiere FM35 goblets.
Acrylic ice buckets and champagne buckets
For serving wine, champagne and sparkling wine, Brevetti WAF offers a range of ice buckets and champagne buckets in pure acrylic Veroglas and PMMA: transparent, durable and with a premium look. The main lines are Alaska (Bowl 20 Lt and Bucket 4.75 Lt), Marea (Bucket 5.25 Lt in transparent, white and black), Game Oval (Bowl 13.7 Lt and 17 Lt, Bucket 4.5 Lt), Glory (Bowl 10.2 Lt, Bucket), Hispana Bowl (4.3 Lt), Station Bowl modular (22 Lt) and the Eclisse Bowl (15 Lt). Also available is the Riviera Ecobowl in PP with wood effect (mahogany and white) and the bucket stand column Column Shape H 67.3 cm.
Bar and wine service accessories
The range of accessories covers everything needed for a well-equipped bar: corkscrews (Archimede lever, Nino C. double lever), jigger measuring cups in stainless steel (30/15 ml and 50/25 ml), cocktail muddler, bar tongs (Ice Tongs and Chef Tongs), pourer cap, wine pourer Wine Server, stoppers and caps for still wines (Delta 58), prosecco (18C) and generic bottles, vacuum pump manual and electric, drip collar, soft ice bucket Eskimo and the Giulietta sabre with wooden support for champagne sabrage.
Carafes, trays and table accessories
The collection is completed by the Urban Pitcher carafes of 1.2 Lt in SAN (available in 6 colours: transparent, yellow, acid green, wisteria, violet, coral), the London Jug carafe in polycarbonate, the Milano Oval Tray, the Milano bowls and the Table Support Marea bucket hooks (white, black, transparent) to attach the bucket to the edge of the table.
How to choose
For glasses: choose the right material
If you're looking for maximum resistance for outdoor use or events, choose polycarbonate (Reflex, Arrogante, McGuire's, Croisiere lines). If you want a visual effect similar to glass for a more refined setting, SAN (Milano, Tiki George, Urban, Martini lines) is the right choice. For prolonged food use or frequent washing, Tritan (Event Glass) offers the best durability.
For champagne buckets: capacity and use context
For a single table or domestic use, buckets of 4.5-5.25 Lt (Marea, Game Oval, Alaska Bucket) are the most practical choice. For events or bar counters, Bowl champagne buckets of 10 to 22 Lt (Alaska, Station Bowl, Game Oval Bowl) allow you to chill multiple bottles simultaneously. The modular Station Bowl with dividers is ideal for professional setups.
For accessories: start from the use
For a complete home bar, the minimum kit includes a corkscrew (Nino C. or Archimede), a jigger measuring cup, a muddler and a pourer cap. For those serving wine at the table, add a drip collar and a vacuum pump to preserve open bottles. For champagne, the Giulietta sabre is a scenic and functional accessory.
FAQ - Frequently asked questions about Brevetti WAF
Are Brevetti WAF glasses dishwasher safe?
It depends on the material. Glasses in Tritan e polycarbonate are generally dishwasher safe at low temperature. Glasses in SAN are more delicate: hand washing is recommended. Always check the instructions in the product specification sheet.
Are Brevetti WAF champagne buckets suitable for outdoor use?
Yes: ice buckets and champagne buckets in acrylic Veroglas and PMMA are resistant to impacts and temperature variations typical of outdoor use. They should not be exposed to direct heat sources (flames, prolonged intense sunlight).
What is the difference between SAN, polycarbonate and Tritan?
Il SAN is light and crystalline but less resistant to impacts. Polycarbonate is the most resistant, ideal for high-risk environments. Tritan combines resistance and food safety (BPA free), with excellent transparency and durability over time.
Can I use Brevetti WAF glasses for events and catering?
