Blankets for sofas: formats and materials

The blankets in this collection cover the most common sizes for sofas and beds. The Bizzotto Plaid Penelope is available in 130×160 cm format — ideal as a blanket for a two-seater sofa — and in the 150×200 cm version, suitable for a single bed or larger sofa. The grey and ivory shades pair easily with sofas in neutral fabrics; for those seeking warmer tones, the Bizzotto Plaid Rachele Olive in 150×200 cm brings a sage green note that blends well with wooden or rattan furnishings, such as typical pallet sofas with coordinated cushions.

Ad Trend completes the offer with more structured blankets: the Sherpa Fabric Blanket 200×220 cm and the Christmas Blanket in Flannel and Sherpa 200×220 cm are designed for the double bed but also work as oversized blankets for sofas and armchairs. Sherpa fabric is thick and soft; the flannel-sherpa combination adds washing resistance.

Decorative Christmas cushions

Bizzotto cushions this season cover two standard sizes: 40×60 cm e 45×45 cm. The Richard Red Tartan Cushion 40×60 cm uses the classic red and green plaid pattern, suitable on a beige or light grey sofa. The Laurence Checked Cushion is available in green and brown, always in 40×60 cm format — useful for those seeking beige or taupe sofa cushions to match subtle colours.

The Janele and Soldier Cushion Covers in 45×45 cm format are sold as an interchangeable cushion cover: they fit onto cushions already in your home and allow you to change the look for Christmas without replacing the filling.

EDG Enzo De Gasperi and Preziosa Home

The section dedicated to EDG Enzo De Gasperi and Preziosa Home includes 18 products among cushions and textile accessories with graphics and colours closer to Christmas decoration. Since 1970, EDG Enzo De Gasperi has been a benchmark for seasonal items: even in textiles it maintains the same palette consistency found in Christmas garlands and wreaths and in other decorations.

Warmth and comfort accessories: bed warmer and stockings

Ad Trend also brings functional gift products to this collection: the Double Bed Warmer 140×160 cm and the Non-Slip Sherpa Christmas Stockings size 35/40 in brown. They are not blankets or cushions in the strict sense, but they complete the "domestic warmth for Christmas" logic that characterises the entire selection.

For those seeking a classic sofa blanket to give as a gift or keep, the Bizzotto Penelope Christmas Blanket 150×200 cm in grey has been available from previous seasons and is one of the best-selling products in this category. For a more structured gift, the Ad Trend Sherpa Blanket 200×220 cm is among the highest-tier items in the collection.

How to choose

Cushions for pallet sofas: which size and colour?

Sofas made with pallets usually have deep seats that work well with cushions in 45×45 cm or 40×60 cm format. The 45×45 cm square format takes up less space and stacks easily; the 40×60 cm rectangular shape is more visible and works better as a backrest. For beige sofas or neutral-toned cushions, the Brown Laurence Cushion or the Green Laurence Cushion fit in well without dominating. The Richard Red Tartan Cushion has more impact and is suitable for those who want a striking Christmas touch.

Blankets for sofas: how to choose the right size

A two-seater sofa is well covered with a 130×160 cm blanket: the Bizzotto Plaid Penelope in grey or ivory was made for this format. For a three-seater sofa or bed, the 150×200 cm provides more coverage. Ad Trend's 200×220 cm blankets are designed for the double bed but are also used bunched on the sofa as an oversized blanket.

How to choose the fabric

The sherpa fabric is soft and thick, retains warmth and washes easily. The flannel and sherpa combination is more durable and suitable for everyday use. Bizzotto blankets do not specify the material in the sample data sheets available; for complete composition details it's best to read the data sheet of the individual product in the grid above.

How to use blankets and cushions as a Christmas gift

Blankets and Christmas decorative cushions are among the most practical gifts to wrap: they fold, go in a shopper or box, and the recipient uses them straight away. For a complete Christmas gift you can combine a blanket, a cushion and an Ad Trend hot water bottle. You can find other Christmas home accessories also among the EDG Enzo De Gasperi decorations and the Zafferano table lamps.

FAQ

Which cushions are good for pallet sofas?

For sofas made with pallets you need compact cushions that do not slip: the 45×45 cm format fits better with the deep seats of pallets. Cushions with interchangeable covers, like the Bizzotto Janele or Soldier covers, are practical because they can be removed and washed. For colours, beige, sage green and brown match the raw wood of pallets.

Do Bizzotto blankets wash in the washing machine?

The product data sheets in the grid above provide specific washing instructions for each item. In general, mixed fabric blankets wash at low temperatures; always check the label before washing.

Are velvet Christmas runners found in this collection?

This collection is dedicated to blankets, cushions and covers. For table runners and Christmas textile accessories consult the Preziosa Home page or the section dedicated to Christmas decorations.
