Features and types
Christmas decorations in polyresin
The distinctive feature of Preziosa Home decorative items is the polyresin: a compact and lightweight material compared to ceramic, capable of reproducing elaborate shapes — scrolls, bows, three-dimensional surfaces — whilst maintaining colours over time. Among the most common pieces in this collection you'll find the tree base with overlapping drum in polyresin (50×50×45 cm), the Christmas lollipop in red and white (21.7×20×55.5 cm), the nutcracker bear, the red and green Christmas showpiece and the carousel with LED — all sold in gift boxes, ready to be given. For those seeking a touch of ceramic on the Christmas table, the Preziosa Luxury Home line includes a round riser with wavy edge in red ceramic (diameter 21.6 cm, h 9.6 cm) and coordinating dessert plates, also in ceramic.
The glass Christmas baubles with geometric decorations (diameter 10 cm, available in bronze and natural) complete the decorative offer for the tree.
Table textiles
The largest part of the Preziosa Home catalogue is dedicated to table linens: over 50 references including tablecloths, runners and table centres. The sizes cover tables for 6 to 14 place settings, from 130×230 cm to 180×250 cm. The main models:
- Sommaruga non-iron printed tablecloth (140×230 cm) in polyester, assorted patterns
- Tree Sommaruga Christmas tablecloth (140×230 cm), non-iron, multicolour
- Assorted twill tablecloth (130×230 cm), non-iron
- Bias-cut stain-resistant tablecloth (140×240 cm), non-iron, water-repellent treatment
- Damina cotton dyed-thread tablecloth (180×250 cm), for a more refined finish
- Christmas runner with lurex (40×140 cm) and table centre with lurex (100×100 cm), non-iron
The water-repellent stain-resistant tablecloths are ideal for family meals with children: they can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Cotton dyed-thread or digitally printed satin versions are suited to those who prefer a more refined table effect. To complete your entire Christmas table setting you can also explore the furnishing accessories and decorations available in our assortment.
Christmas throws, cushions and rugs
Beyond the table, Preziosa Home offers Christmas throws and blankets in coral and fleece (up to 210×240 cm), sold with gift box or gift bag included. The velvet cushions with Father Christmas embroidery and the non-slip rugs in chenille jacquard and sculptured velvet complete the festive decoration of sofas and entrances. For those seeking a cohesive style from the living room to the table, it's worth taking a look at the range of decorative lighting that coordinates well with Preziosa Home textile items.
Epiphany stockings and seasonal accessories
The collection also includes Epiphany stockings in polyester, available in three sizes (20×48 cm, 45 cm, 53 cm), assorted colours. A convenient accessory to add to your basket along with decorations, so you won't need to look elsewhere in January.
How to choose
For decorations: start with dimensions
Polyresin tree bases are suitable for trees from 150 cm and above. The base with overlapping drum (50×50×45 cm) is the most impactful choice for a large tree. For desks, windowsills or shelves, smaller pieces such as the showpiece, the nutcracker or glass baubles work well on their own, without overwhelming the space.
For the table: start with practicality
If the priority is ease of management during festive meals, choose water-repellent stain-resistant non-irontablecloths: simply wipe with a damp cloth. For a more refined effect — Christmas Eve dinners, photographed tables — tablecloths in dyed-thread cotton or in digitally printed satin with lurex give a more elaborate result. Always check the dimensions: the range covers tables for 6 to 14 place settings.
To coordinate matching runners and table centres you can opt for the versions with lurex (40×140 cm and 100×100 cm): same colour palette, shimmering effect in candlelight. For those wanting to explore Christmas tables further, you can find inspiration among furnishing accessories and decorations and the offerings by Ad Trend, a brand specialising in seasonal items.
For gifts: ready-made packaging
Many items are sold in gift box or gift bag (throws, blankets, polyresin decorations): ready to give without additional wrapping. It's a practical solution for corporate Christmas gifts or for those short on time. If you're looking for home gift ideas with a more natural style, take a look at Tono Su Tono products — candles, vases and decorations with coordinated palette — and the Bonturi Casa Home Decoration.

The decorative items (tree bases, showpieces, nutcrackers, carousels, lollipops) are in polyresin, impact-resistant. The tree baubles are in glass. The Luxury Home line includes pieces in ceramic (risers, dessert plates). The textiles are mainly in polyester stain-resistant non-iron; the Damina tablecloths are in cotton dyed-thread.
Are Preziosa Home tablecloths machine washable?
It depends on the model. The water-repellent stain-resistant tablecloths are cleaned with a damp cloth and should not be machine washed. The cotton tablecloths (such as the Damina dyed-thread) are washable. Always check the instructions on the individual product sheet.
Are polyresin decorations suitable as gifts?

How do I store polyresin decorations between one season and another?
