Features and types
The SINED catalogue for garden showers is divided into three product families, each designed for a specific use case.
Wall-mounted LED showerheads — Led 3, Led 4, Led 5 Series
The showerheads in the LED series are wall-mounted or attached to an existing column: they are the most compact option for those who want to add an outdoor shower without revolutionising the plumbing installation.
- SINED Led 3: 24 cm rain showerhead, chromotherapy LED, grey ABS body.
- SINED LED-4: rain showerhead with LED sensor, grey ABS body.
- SINED Led 5: 22×22 cm square head, infrared detection, grey ABS body.
These are the entry-level models of the range: simple installation, ideal for the pool area or a terrace with an existing water point.
Timed aluminium columns — Luna Series
The SINED Luna series is the core of the catalogue for those looking for a column garden shower. The structures are in aluminium, approximately 223 cm tall, and feature an integrated timed mixer that allows you to regulate the flow and reduce consumption.
The main variants:
- Luna Timer White / Black / Grey: column with round showerhead, available in three base finishes.
- Luna Timer Grey Double Connection: accepts both cold and hot water thanks to the double connection, useful if the system already reaches the garden.
- Luna Timer P White / Black / Grey: adds the integrated foot rinse at the bottom, practical for the pool edge.
- Luna Alu D Black Gold: aluminium with gold details and separate showerhead-spout, for residential spaces with more refined aesthetics.
- Luna Shower Aluminium Black Gold: version with stainless steel showerhead, black-gold finish.
The entire Luna series is designed for continuous outdoor use.
Solar shower — Sole XXL Model
The SINED Sole XXL is a solar garden shower with a 40-litre HDPE (high-density polyethylene) tank, 226 cm tall, with a brass showerhead. Available in Black Gold version. It is the choice for those who want water autonomy in the external area without interventions on the heating system.
Stainless steel 316L pool showers — Palau and Stintino Series
For pool edge, marine environments or areas subject to intense humidity, SINED proposes structures in stainless steel 316L, known for its resistance to salt corrosion:
- SINED Palau Curved Stainless Satin: curved structure, cold water, 316L satin stainless finish.
- SINED Palau Black Satin: version with satin black finish, integrated showerhead and foot rinse.
- SINED Stintino Stainless 316L Black: structure with showerhead and foot rinse, black finish, stainless steel 316L.
These are the recommended models for hotels, residences, condominium pools or coastal homes. L'Arcolaio also follows supplies for hospitality facilities and businesses, and the Palau and Stintino range is often part of the outdoor B2B projects we manage.
How to choose the right garden shower
Private or professional use?
For a private garden with a pool, the timed aluminium Luna series offers a good balance between design and practicality. For intensive use — hotels, residences, condominium pools — the Palau and Stintino series in stainless steel 316L are the most suitable choice for long-term durability.
Is hot water connection available?
If the plumbing system does not reach the external area or does not provide hot water, the Sole XXL with 40-litre HDPE tank is the autonomous option. If the system is already in place, the Luna Timer with double connection handles both cold and hot water.
Aluminium or stainless steel 316L?
The aluminium of the Luna series is lightweight and treated for outdoor use: ideal for private gardens without salt exposure. The stainless steel 316L of the Palau and Stintino series is more robust and resists corrosion better in coastal environments or those with pool chlorine. If you are unsure about the choice, consider the installation context: indoor garden or marine area?
Aesthetics and outdoor matching
The available finishes cover grey, white, black and black-gold. Black matches dark metal structures, wood or stone; white is consistent with light aluminium or white resin furnishings. If you are planning the entire external area, on L'Arcolaio you will also find outdoor tables and outdoor chairs to complete the space, the garden parasols for the relaxation area and the decorative lanterns for evening lighting. For a complete outdoor project, you can also consult the catalogue of outdoor furnishings.
Integrated foot rinse: is it necessary?
If the shower is positioned at the exit of a pool or sandy area, the integrated foot rinse (present in the Luna Timer P variants and in the Palau Black Satin and Stintino models) is a practical convenience that prevents sand or grass from being brought indoors.
FAQ — Frequently asked questions about garden showers
What is the best material for a garden shower, aluminium or stainless steel?
It depends on the installation environment. Thealuminium of the Luna series is lightweight and suitable for private gardens in non-coastal areas. Thestainless steel 316L of the Palau and Stintino series is more suitable for marine environments, condominium pools or anywhere with prolonged exposure to humidity and chlorine. The HDPE of the Sole XXL model is the material of the tank in the solar version: lightweight and resistant to weather conditions.
What is the correct height for the mixer of an outdoor shower?
It is generally positioned between 90 and 110 cm from the ground, for the comfort of adult users. The SINED columns of the Luna series, approximately 223 cm tall, integrate the mixer at a standard height. If the chosen model includes the foot rinse at the bottom, check the product sheet for the exact position of the control point.
Does the garden shower need to be installed by a plumber?
The Luna series columns connect to the existing plumbing system via standard connection. A plumber is recommended for the final connection, especially if it is the model with double hot/cold water connection. The LED series showerheads, on the other hand, are mounted on pre-arranged columns with simpler installation.
Can I use these showers in a coastal area or at the pool edge?
For coastal areas and pool edges with chlorine exposure, the Palau and Stintino series in stainless steel 316L are the most suitable. The aluminium of the Luna series is treated for outdoor use, but in environments with high salinity or strong chlorine presence, stainless steel guarantees greater durability over time.
