Types and characteristics

The Lotti catalogue available on L'Arcolaio is divided into four product families, with technical characteristics declared directly in the models.

Linear chains and MiniCluster for the tree

Lotti linear chains feature LEDs at regular intervals on transparent wire. The MaxiLed family (diameter 7–8 mm) offers more intense light, visible even during the day, and is extendable in series thanks to compatible connectors. In the catalogue you'll also find the Cluster Garland with 600 MicroLeds with 8 cm tufts, 3 m of chain and 4 m of cable, in multicolour version — suitable for both tree and shelves and frames.

For those seeking a volumetric effect on the tree, the MiniCluster chains group LEDs in tufts (diameter 6 cm) and create a denser three-dimensional finish compared to the classic linear chain.

Ice Light curtains for windows and facades

Lotti offers two curtain formats for windows:

• Ice Light Curtain 228 MaxiLed (diameter 7 mm, H 90 cm × L 3 m) with 1.5 m of white cable — compact, suitable for standard windows and niches.
• Irregular Ice Light Curtain 840 LEDs (2 m × 1.10 m) with 4 m of warm white cable — wavy profile, covers larger surfaces such as patio doors or arches.

Both are hooked to the top edge and hang vertically, without additional wall fixings.

Chandelier cascading light fittings

The Chandelier line is the most scenic in the Lotti catalogue: cascading structures with integrated LEDs, available in three heights — H 55 cm (diameters 15/25/35 cm), H 85 cm (diameters 25/40/55 cm) and H 100 cm (diameters 30/52/75 cm). Suitable for entrances with high ceilings, dining rooms or shop windows. These are decorative lights for indoor use, not for outdoor use.

Alongside these is the Party Light Chain with 10 filament LED drops E27 (diameter 60 mm), 4+5 m long and extendable — a more informal solution for covered terraces or shared spaces.

Decorations and Christmas figures with LEDs

Lotti also produces Christmas items with integrated LEDs:

• 3D Reindeer in soft acrylic H 65 cm with 80 white LEDs — for indoors, to be placed on the ground or on a piece of furniture.

Power supply accessories

For extendable MaxiLed chains (format XMXL), Lotti provides two dedicated transformers:

• 24 W Transformer — max 600 LEDs, 4 m cable + 1.5 m transparent.
• 48 W Transformer — max 1200 LEDs, PL24V 3Pins connector, 1.5 m cable + 4 m transparent.

Both transformers are compatible with extendable MaxiLed linear chains. The 48 W transformer allows you to connect multiple chains in series, up to a maximum of 1200 total LEDs.

How to choose the right Lotti lights

The choice depends on three variables: the space you want to light, the availability of a power socket and the visual effect you want to achieve.

For the Christmas tree extendable linear MaxiLed chains (such as the Linear Chain XMXL 96 MaxiLed in red 10 m) or MiniCluster are the most suitable solutions. A tree of 150–180 cm is well lit with 300–500 LEDs. If you want to connect multiple chains, pair with the compatible transformer straight away.

For windows and facades the Ice Light curtain is the most direct choice: it is mounted in minutes on the top edge of the frame. The 228 MaxiLed version covers a standard window (L 3 m); the Irregular version with 840 LEDs is better suited to patio doors or arched entrances.

For high-impact indoor spaces the Chandelier cascading light fittings stand out for their size and finish: the H 100 cm model, with three LED crowns (D 30/52/75 cm), is designed for high ceilings and scenic entrances.

For table or shelf decorations the Father Christmas with Rotating Elves and the Nutcracker with Rotating Train (both H 19 cm) are easily positioned on any flat surface. The 3D Reindeer in acrylic H 65 cm requires more space but creates an independent light point without the need for chains.

Can Lotti MaxiLed chains be extended together?

Yes. MaxiLed family chains (format XMXL, D 7 mm) are equipped with compatible connectors that allow them to be connected in series. The maximum number of LEDs that can be connected depends on the transformer: the 24 W model supports up to 600 LEDs, the 48 W model up to 1200 LEDs. Before buying multiple chains, check the power of the transformer you intend to use.

What is the difference between MaxiLed, MicroLed and MiniCluster?

MaxiLed (diameter 7–8 mm) is the largest LED in the Lotti range: it emits intense light, visible even in bright environments. MicroLed (diameter approx. 1.5 mm) is very small, ideal for delicate effects on thin trees or in cascades. MiniCluster groups LEDs in tufts (diameter 6 cm) to create a three-dimensional effect on the tree, more voluminous compared to the classic linear chain.

Are Lotti Chandelier light fittings suitable for outdoor use?

No. The Chandelier cascading light fittings available on L'Arcolaio are decorations for indoor use. For outdoors, always check the protection rating shown on the packaging of the individual product. The Party Light Chain with 10 filament drops E27 (extendable, 4+5 m) is instead suitable for covered terraces, as long as it is sheltered from direct rain.

Do Lotti decorative figures (Father Christmas, Nutcracker) run on batteries?

The Father Christmas with Rotating Elves and Nutcracker with Rotating Train models are powered by mains electricity via included cable. They do not require batteries.
