The Lotti catalogue available on L'Arcolaio covers three macro-product categories, each with precise technical characteristics that are legible from the model name itself.

String lights for trees and indoor/outdoor spaces

The Lotti chains are divided into three main families:

• Linear chains: LEDs arranged at regular intervals on transparent cable. The model Lotti Linear Chain 96 MaxiLed 10 Mt in warm white is extendable and is among the most requested for trees and balconies — you can also find it in the dedicated version for lotti linear Christmas chain. There are also variants with 180 LEDs (7.5 m) and 600 LEDs (24.5 m) for different needs.
• MiniCluster chains: LEDs grouped in clusters (6 cm diameter), ideal for a volume effect on the tree. Available from 432 LED/9 m up to 2000 LED/40.5 m, in warm white, cold white and with silver cable.
• Festoon Cluster chains: larger clusters (8–12 cm diameter) for wall or outdoor garlands. Models with 2200 and 3300 LEDs cover up to 33.5 m in length.

The available colour palettes are warm white, cold white, multicolour and RGB (the latter in AA battery versions, also suitable for table decorations).

Curtains and cascading lights

For windows and facades, Lotti offers:

• Ice Light curtains: the version with 228 MaxiLed D 7 mm covers H 90 cm × L 3 m. Structure with pendant strips in white.
• Multi-strip curtains: the model with 1080 LEDs and 10 pendant strips reaches varying heights between 90 and 130 cm over a width of 13.5 m. Excellent for large windows or porches.
• Cascades: available in versions from 300 MicroLed (H 100 cm, 15 strings) up to 900 MicroLed (H 300 cm) in warm white. The "luminous rain" effect works well on glass or under a gazebo.

Christmas villages and decorative figures

The Lotti decorative line includes pieces with integrated LEDs, rotating mechanisms and soundtracks:

• Gingerbread House village (Ginger Bread House): H 21 cm, LED, rotating with music.
• House with Sleigh village: H 23 cm, 20×13 cm, LED and music.
• Snowy Landscape village: H 31 cm, 28.5×29.5 cm, LED and music.
• Ferris Wheel village: H 48 cm, 38×17 cm, movement and music — the most scenic in the line.
• Snowy Village with Skaters: H 28 cm, diameter 52 cm, rotating multicolour.
• Santa Claus with Rotating Elves: D 13 cm, H 19 cm, LED.
• 3D reindeer in soft acrylic: available in H 65 cm (80 white LEDs) and H 105 cm (180 white LEDs).
• Linden branch tree with MicroLed: heights 45 cm (108 MicroLed) and 90 cm (240 MicroLed), with 4 m of cable included.

Power supply accessories

Lotti also produces technical accessories compatible with their own extendable chains:

• Transformers: 24 Watt (max 600 LED) and 48 Watt (max 1200 LED, PL24V 3Pins with 1.5 + 4 m of transparent cable).
• Lotti 5-socket power strip: 4 sockets 16A + Schuko with ON/OFF switch, useful for managing multiple chains from a single point.
• Solar panel chain: 500 MiniPearl LED, 25 m, 4 m cable, completely independent from the mains.

How to choose the right Lotti lights

In our selection of Lotti lights we have gathered several years of experience with our customers: those who decorate their home for Christmas have very different needs depending on the space and the desired effect. Here are the criteria we use to guide the choice.

For the Christmas tree we recommend MiniCluster chains or extendable linear MaxiLed: the volume of the clusters adds depth to the canopy, whilst the linear ones are lighter for thin trees. A medium tree (150–180 cm) is well lit with 300–500 LEDs.

For windows and balconies Ice Light or multi-strip curtains are the most straightforward choice: simply attach the top edge and they hang vertically without further fixings. For long facades, models with 10 strips and 1080 LEDs cover up to 13.5 m horizontally.

For decorating without a power socket the chain with solar panel with 500 MiniPearl LED (25 m) is the only completely autonomous option in the Lotti catalogue. Ideal for gazebos, fences or balconies without a socket.

For Christmas villages on a table or shelf consider the dimensions: houses with music and LED range from H 21 cm to H 31 cm and position well on a centrepiece or low furniture. The Ferris Wheel (H 48 cm) and the Snowy Village (D 52 cm) require more space and are designed as scenic pieces.

For extendable installations make sure to pair the right transformer: the MaxiLed D 7 mm chains (XMXL format) require the transformer with 3Pins connector of 24 or 48 Watt, available in the Lotti catalogue.

Frequently asked questions

Can Lotti chains be extended together?

Yes, many Lotti linear and MaxiLed chains are designed with compatible connectors that allow them to be linked in series. The maximum number of chains that can be connected depends on the power of the transformer used: the 48 Watt model supports up to 1200 total LEDs. Always check the technical specifications of the individual product before connecting multiple chains.

What is the difference between MaxiLed, MicroLed and MiniCluster?

MaxiLed indicates LEDs of larger size (7–8 mm diameter), with more powerful light visible even during the day. MicroLed are very small LEDs (1.5 mm diameter), ideal for delicate effects on the tree or in cascades. MiniCluster are cluster groupings (6 cm diameter) that create a three-dimensional "ball of light" effect, widely used on Christmas trees.

Can Lotti lights be used outdoors?

Some Lotti chains are suitable for outdoor use, including those with solar power. In general, check the protection rating indicated on the packaging of the individual product: indoor chains should not be exposed to direct rain. The 3D reindeer in acrylic and Christmas villages are instead designed for indoor use.

Do Lotti Christmas villages require batteries or mains power?

Lotti Christmas villages (houses with LED, ferris wheel, rotating skaters) are powered by mains electricity via included cable. They do not require batteries. The only battery-powered chains in the catalogue are those with 3×AA (models with 20 and 40 MicroLed RGB), designed for small decorations in the absence of a socket.
